Day 1 (April 12): Ho Chi Minh arrival – private coach pick up at airport -take you back the hotel

Day 2 (April 13): Ho Chi Minh – Private Long Tan trip – Journey to the hallowed grounds of Long Tan and  pay tribute to the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of freedom. Situated amidst the rolling hills of Phuoc Tuy Province, this tranquil site bears witness to one of the most poignant chapters of the Vietnam War. Day 5 (April 16): – Coach pick you up and take you back the hotel – private city tour on afternoon visit Independence Palace + Central Post Office + Notre-Dame Cathedral – Travel on a journey through Vietnam’s modern history with a visit to the historic landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City. Day 12 (April 23):  Hanoi – Sleeper bus to Sapa – Enjoying scenery of rice field at Lao Chai Ta Van by trekking – Enjoy the dinner with famous sturgeon Hot Pot – Free and exploring Sapa town – Nestled amidst the mist-shrouded peaks of northern Vietnam, Sapa beckons with its ethereal beauty and vibrant hill tribe culture. Day 13 (April 24): Sapa – Car pick you up at hotel to visit Fansipan Peak (the rooftop of Indochina) by  cable car – Sleeper bus back to Hanoi – Ascend to the pinnacle of Indochina aboard the world’s longest cable car and behold the awe-inspiring vistas from Fansipan Peak. Meet our expert commentator

Gary McKay – Gary John McKay MC is a writer and former Australian Army officer. He was awarded the Military Cross while serving with the 4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment during the Vietnam War. He later served as Commanding Officer of 8th/9th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment between 1988 and 1990 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Gary is Australia’s most prolific writer on the Viet Nam War with over 13 titles on the war to his credit. He is also on several committees for the Department of Veterans Affairs on Education projects and in his home town is on the sister city committee with Hoi An and Kiama.
